1. What's the last item you mailed?from thefridayfive:
err... yati made me mail out for some gardenia lucky draw contest before she left. by the way, on the topic of yati... when you see me in school in jeans and tied-up hair, you can almost accurately guess i have a(n arts, hence informal) presentation that day. when you see me in school in jeans for consecutive days, you can safely infer that i have been really busy and hence possess um undisplayable legs. when you see me in school in the same pair of jeans for consecutive days, you can certainly be sure that yati is on holiday.
2. Who has made you smile recently?
many people; i think it should really be pretty easy. sidetrack: just now i watched a programme on channel 8 on this ex-hairdresser who used to lead an alternative lifestyle, one day by freak accident got beaten up so badly it left him in a wheelchair and his brain injured or something, and his long and arduous road to (partial) recovery. he gave his pretty powerful (i felt) testimony on how God has made such a difference in his life, and it was really very touching.
3. What's the weather like outside?
cold and rainy; i like. happy.
4. Do you consider youself a good judge of character?
nope, and there's a chinese proverb for that. and i do know what it is, okay!
5. What's your favourite photograph?
currently, it's a little boy asleep on my bed. because it's my bed, makes me feel like he's mine. i wish.
1. If you had all the money in the world and could choose to own anything, what you would get and why?
apart from all the usual material possessions, e.g. specs, birks, ipod nano, books etc., i can't really think at the moment of something major i want that money can buy. maybe a new house bah. why? because everything at home seems to be falling apart! the tiles, the pipes, the walls...
2. If you were to do something that scares you, what would it be?
to decide now to specialise in something i've never before considered.
3. What was your first pet?
a big rabbit by the name of maggie. she looked slightly like the man who sold her to us. heehee.
4. What's the farthest you've travelled?
from singapore to the states. another outta-point thingamy, which i randomly inserted here--do you pronounce "ear" as "ee-year" or "year"? and do you use "a" or "an" preceding it?
5. If you were a season, which one would you be and why?
fall. it's beautiful in a lot of senses, even its name is familiarity to me. not really related again, but do you sometimes also wonder about how our perception of time is cyclical, yet an ongoing straight line, all at the same time? for example, your birthday happens once every year, yet you increase in age with the years. get what i mean?
Extra one: If you were a song, which one would you be and why?
mercyme's i can only imagine. i really, really love it, and i sincerely want it played at my funeral. at the peak of the chorus, i feel like my entire heart and soul is contained within the lyrics. i've spent my life waiting for the morning. i've spent my life waiting for the morning.
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for You, Jesus
Or in awe of You, be still
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing 'Hallelujah'
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
