so sad...
i just found out that yahoo! photos is closing, and that really sucks, 'cos it means i hafta import my albums over to somewhere else, and really, of all my existing photo sites, i like yahoo! photos' features/functions the most.

i swear my grammar sucks. i love your travel logs post cos' im too lazy to do this and reading your posts makes me miss our trip so bad. ):

the kids are too cute. i really wish to visit the rural parts of thailand to see the tribes.

although i can't say that i went to the really rural parts of thailand this trip, i can safely say that i think i've had enough of the "rural parts of thailand" for at least the next little while.

give me delicious ice shavings anytime.
the doobfemdog on August 10th, 2007 05:10 pm (UTC)
well. the last time i went to thailand it was bangkok for 3 days only. so of course i would like to see those kids. :) but woohoo taiwan! so sad that i didn't have the fantastic ice snow shavings every single day of the trip.

okay, fine, snow shavings. thanks for correcting yourself and not me. haha. why you no post taiwan pics?
the doobfemdog on August 10th, 2007 05:32 pm (UTC)
because too many? very sian. i'm thinking of upgrading my flickr to a paid account so that i can post as many pics as i want.
a little less than the girl next door: question markin_transit on August 13th, 2007 03:42 pm (UTC)
how would you rate the usability of flickr? cos i need to transfer my yahoo photos somewhere and i've tried some sites before but i'm still more used to yahoo... and apparently flickr belongs to yahoo too. what is the max amount of photos you can keep at flickr?? and how much is paid account?
the doobfemdog on August 13th, 2007 05:47 pm (UTC)
flickr is probably the best and funnest way to store photos online. only thing is, if it's a free account, you can keep unlimited amount of photos but only 200 latest photos can be seen. so if you want to be able to see the rest, you'd have to upgrade. but i think the paid account isn't too ex, it's about 40 sing bucks per year. i'm a cheapo so i have 3 accounts, but it's really troublesome, so i think i will upgrade when i have the money.
a little less than the girl next doorin_transit on August 14th, 2007 04:59 am (UTC)
40 bucks ah? alright lah. but... maybe when i have the money. right now, lemme just look around for free sites, being the cheapo i am. i found this site, multiply.com, which combines video sites and photo sites etc etc and you can also transfer from other places like yahoo/flickr/photobucket/youtube/even lj etc. over to that site... but still evaluating to rate its usability.
the doobfemdog on August 14th, 2007 05:34 am (UTC)
i've heard of multiply. it basically is a combination of everything. haha.
a little less than the girl next doorin_transit on August 14th, 2007 05:50 am (UTC)
yeah, which sounds kinda appealing in a way 'cos it collects all your stuff in one place, isn't it? but i dunno how good/reliable it is leh.
the doobfemdog on August 14th, 2007 06:04 am (UTC)
i personally don't like it, although i've never used it before. i think it's the overall design of it. hahaha.

little beanie boy reminds me of my nephew. ultimate cuteness. and little joseph boy has got beautiful features, especially his eyes ;) any chance he's a leftie?
a little less than the girl next door: no iconin_transit on August 13th, 2007 04:32 am (UTC)
wah your nephew so cute?! you better start posting pics of him then! hehe pity i didn't notice if he's leftie or rightie. but i thought of the possibility of "buying" him back to s'pore on the pretext of "giving him a better life". but then i figured, he's so cute, his parents prolly adore him. hehe. :p
