speed reading

it used to be so much easier finishing the whole paper before i went to work -- softer, funner, easier to grasp stories and fewer. anything else i needed, or big enough, important enough, newsworthy enough, would be on facebook or twitter. now it's just a rush against time speed-reading through the various sections before my alarm goes off to prepare for work. every day just hoping whatever little i managed to grab will work for me.

p.s.: i'm testing the washer today. it must be the world's slowest washing machine. one full run takes two hours and eleven minutes. off to shower; so long and good luck to me.
